From the voice of the Pastor By Rev. Samson

I love you all people of God. We thank Him for His mercies that has led us through this week , we shall trust him again for the days ahead of us. My friends,  have you ever asked your self why you have failed to settle or possess what is marked out for you? This voice will help you find out why and the actions you need to take so as to live and proclaim  your God given promises.

Theme: ” *conquer* *to possess”*

Numbers 33:51-53

[51]“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,

[52]drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you. Destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.

[53]Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.

The above scripture verses are very instrumental to help us in our victories before we possess. A child of God is not only called and saved but he or she is invited for Spiritual war fare as well. God has a great plan to settle us in our promises  and possession of the best of His creation, however we have to be involved as we take actions on our part. This should not sound like salvation is by works. Salvation is a free gift of God to us through Jesus our Lord but to live out this salvation and enjoy the long fruits of this free gift we have to fight. How can we position ourselves to conquer and take possession?

There are 3 Ds mentioned in verse 52, *Drive, Destroy and Demolish*. D,D and D. The 3 Ds are the game changer if we are to live a victorious life where we are. We use the 3 Ds for

1. Settlement. If we are to settle. We either settle or wander . Before the Lord spoke to Moses after the Israelites left Rameses in Egypt, they left and camped in different places. This is mentioned over 40 times. That is not the will of God. Kindly settle down. You need to drive, destroy and demolish things that make it hard for you to settle in your place, village, town, country, marriage, work, studies among others in Jesus name.

2. Take captive of your enemies before you possess. Never think you are the first nation to settle there. There are others that settled in before you. This is every good space to think of spiritual battle. The nations that had taken your territory will not just live you to come and take it that easily. Am reminded of what Paul says in his second letter to the Corinthians  as quoted,2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Kindly use the Ds

3. Take possession. It is one thing to be shown all that is meant for you but another to take possession of it. Until you possess it you do not have it. My friend take possession of your promise by driving out, destroying and demolishing strong holds and arguments against your good life. Moses led the children of Israel from captivity with the intention of taking them to the promised land, he was shown the land but died without taking possession of it. Do not just be around your promises but take possession of it in Jesus name I have to conclude it here by Quoting one of my favorite inspiring leaders Napoleon Bonaparte who said ” *Victory belongs to most persevering”* let us persevere as we drive away, destroy the existing  alters and demolish every erected structures against our path to victory to settle , take captive and possess what is ours in Jesus name. Have a Blessed weekend and Sunday service.
