From the voice of the Pastor By Rev. Samson

This is yet another weekend. I Greet you people of God on the move. Saved people of God do not move any where any how without the Divine Guidance. Is Christ the Lord of your life and do you relate with Him for Divine Guidance? Jesus in Old Testament book of Numbers is *God our ever present helper for victory.*

Numbers 10:34-36

[34]The cloud of the Lord was over them by day when they set out from the camp.

[35]Whenever the ark set out, Moses said,

“ *Rise up,* *Lord!*

    May your enemies be scattered;

    may your foes flee before you.”

[36]Whenever it came to rest, he said,

“ *Return, Lord,*

    to the countless thousands of Israel.”

On this trip I would employ you to use R and R. *Rise* and **Return.* The children of Israel were journeying from mount Sinai to the promise land. From place of lack and hardship to the land flowing with milk and honey -Canaan. It is now clear that the enemy wanted the Israelites to remain slaves, and stay in hard life for many years at mount Sinai in the desert. God through the leadership of Moses wanted them to move them to a better place. How can we use R and R as leaders, pastors and as individuals?

1. When moving from undesirable to desirable destiny. You need to invoke him to rise against the opposers and only return when  he has conquered your enemies. Paul emphasized it Ephesians 6:17-18.This should be the goal of any leader

2. In times of conflicts and Spiritual battles. I do not know about you, the enemy against our progress will not sleep until you surrender to him but when you use RR, you can be sure of the victory. This is confirmed in Exodus 15:3, he is a warrior. May God rise and return in your battles this season in Jesus name.

3. For abiding presence of God Matthew 28:20. Lo, I will be with you up to the end. Missions can flourish only with his abiding presence. One of the characters of God is that He is omnipresent. This is possible when we learn to call on Him as our friend  in hard times and in good times. When we trust Him, he will rise up for our welfare and settle among us- God incarnate John 1:11. He died but rose again hallelujah!

4. He has never left His bride (Church) alone and forever. He left us the Holy Spirit. When He moves every thing shifts in the right direction. Emmanuel is with us all the time and he is watching the worldly affairs and that enemy of yours. They will scatter and flee. He will come back and settle among us as he is doing today but will fully be consummated during his second coming in power and Glory. Glory be to God

In Conclusion, some one said it gets worse before it gets better. The situation you are going through requires your God to show up. This can only be possible if we use R and R In our Spiritual pilgrimage. May He rise and return to  your camp, to your family, to your job, your education, to your marriage, to your academics, political aspirations , all storms and sickness in Jesus name. Have a blessed weekend friends.
